In our world today, we are witness to famine and suffering.  There just doesn't seem to be enough resources to go around.  But is that really the case? When Jesus fed the 5000 that day on a remote beachfront, he didn't see the problem as unfortunate and unsolvable. Instead, he solved it. He found a child who was willing to share what he had.  What the child had wasn’t enough, but with Jesus’ assistance, it became more than enough.

In the context of today’s scripture text -- the fact is, God provides when we share what little we have.

Join us in worship at Eastgate Christian Church as we consider what we can share, not because of what impact that gift might have, but because we know God can make a difference.

Scripture text is Matthew 14:13-21, the story of Feeding the 5000, in which Jesus shows compassion, provides abundantly, and invites His disciples to participate in serving others even when resources seem limited.
