Eastgate Christian Church is a congregation that seeks to develop faith in God through worship, study, and a commitment to serve others. Formed in 1951 as Crysler Ave. Christian Church, the congregation has served God for over 60 years as a neighborhood church on the south side of Independence, MO.
Eastgate is affiliated with the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), an American denomination founded on the belief that unity among Christians could be found in the worship and community practices of the earliest Christian churches described in the New Testament.
