Please join us in worship on Sunday, Sept. 6th as Pastor Whitmer brings us the message, "Call to Order".    Sermon in a sentence(s):  Followers of Jesus believe a time is coming when the world will completely change, and God’s Kingdom will appear.   Will this happen in our lifetime?   No one can know.  One thing is for certain, we all will eventually enter God's Kingdom. None of us can foresee when we will have our final moment on this earth.  We do know we only have this life where we can get ourselves ready for the time God calls us to a new life, where nothing will ever be the same again.

Scripture focus:  Exodus 12:1-14, Romans 13:8-14

In Exodus 12:1-14, God gives Israel the Passover as a sign of deliverance. The blood of the lamb marks the people as God’s own, and the meal becomes a lasting reminder that the Lord rescues, protects, and leads His people into freedom.

In Romans 13:8-14, Paul reminds us that love is the fulfillment of God’s law. We are called to wake up, live honorably, and “put on the Lord Jesus Christ,” choosing the light of Christ over the darkness of selfishness and sin.

Together, these readings point us to God’s saving love and our response: remember what God has done, live in the light, and let love guide every step.
