Join us for worship on Sunday, September 13th as Pastor Lem brings us the message, "Forgive: 77 times". Forgiveness does not mean forgetting the harm done to us, but choosing to release anger and resentment so they do not destroy us. Jesus teaches that instead of seeking revenge, we should forgive repeatedly and love our enemies as a better way to live. Easier said than done. We hope to see you on Sunday as we consider the ways we can learn to forgive as Jesus taught us.

Scripture focus: Matthew 18:21-35

This verse speaks powerfully about the importance of forgiveness in our lives. When we receive God’s mercy and forgiveness, it should move us to extend that same grace and forgiveness to others around us. It’s a reminder that forgiveness is not just a nice gesture but an essential aspect of our spiritual growth and wellbeing. We release the burden of resentment and anger that can weigh heavily on our hearts and minds by forgiving others, allowing us to experience peace and freedom.
