Please join us for worship on Sunday, September 27th as Pastor Lem brings us the message, "True Believe'n".  Have you ever made a promise and didn't follow through?   Why do people break promises? We have the best intentions, but... well... let's be honest... things happen.  None of us is perfect. We sin, we break promises and we stubbornly live lives of exploitation and failure to follow what God wishes for us. But Jesus tells his followers that it will be those who recognize God’s will and actually change their lives who will find favor. Actions speak louder than words.   It's not what you say, it's what you do.   

Can we not only talk the talk, but can we walk the walk?

Scripture focus is Matthew 21:28-32,  the Parable of Two Sons.  In this particular passage, Jesus tells a parable about two sons. He describes a father who asks his first son to go and work in the vineyard. The son initially refuses but later changes his mind and goes. The father then asks the second son to do the same, and he agrees but does not go. Jesus uses this story to illustrate the importance of obedience and repentance, highlighting that actions speak louder than words when it comes to following God’s will.
